I finally typed “THE END” on my first steampunk novel, “The Courtesan of Constantinople”.
I’ve decided to pursue an agent for this book, so I’ve been making a list. My list is comprised of agents actively looking for Steampunk. Also adding those who requested during #Pit2Pub or perhap have Steampunk as a #MSWL.
Because I’m pursuing this route, I thought I would keep the inquiring minds among you up-to-date as I progress through this ‘new’ process for me.
Those are two powerful words to any unpublished writer. How do authors get from the trenches of the typewriter to basking in the glow of fans? I know I know it’s a bit melodramatic but it seems that many writer’s feel that way until someone comes along (a publisher/agent) and validates that they do have something important to say.
I’d like to tackle some of your questions and see if we can both learn something new. Next week I’ll begin imparting a bit of my thoughts. See you then!
